KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Install, repair, and maintain chilled water, steam, heat, water, drainage, sewage, and other plumbing systems.
• • Inspect joints, valves, pumps, boilers, heaters, sinks, tanks, valves, and other plumbing system components to locate malfunctions, and make repairs or replacements when necessary.
• • Prepare daily activity reports for submission to the Plumbing Supervisor.
• • Performs preventative maintenance work as required.
• • Any other duties assigned by the Plumbing Supervisor

Job Qualifications / Skills

• Craft certificate in plumbing from a recognized institution.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role.


• Skills & Professional Attributes


• 1. Must be good at application of creativity and innovative skills in managing projects.

• 2. Should have good analyzing skills as well.


• 3. Skill in the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of plumbing systems.

• 4. Knowledge of the mechanical operation of equipment such as pumps, boilers, heaters, and other plumbing components.


• 5. Should be a problem – solver and be able to grasp the problem at hand and take quick steps to resolve it.

• 6. Ability to develop, formulate strategy and exercise good judgment.


• 7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
